Many Transsexuals Fight for Equality rights through Group and Individual Demonstration

There are many different types of transgender individuals also known as transsexuals. Transsexuals are individuals who have changed their sexual orientation, and many transsexuals are fighting for equality rights for every one no matter their sexual expression.

Unfortunately just as other changes in the world today, transsexuals are facing and fighting against discrimination. Just as single parents used to fight discrimination a few years ago and today being a single parent is an accepted way of life, it's the same thing with transsexuals. They need to have some equality rights and be treated the same way as anybody else irrespective of their sexual orientation; everyone needs to relax and let transsexuals be.

While equality rights have moved forward no matter what color you are, sexual orientation and transsexuals are still fighting for equality rights. There are groups of them that demonstrate, there are lobbyists in Washington, and there is probably a transsexual in your neighborhood that's afraid to come out because of discrimination.

If you can imagine living psychologically inside the wrong body you can get an idea of what these people must go through in life. Should they choose to become a transgender, which means that they have chosen to go through transition to change their physical body to match their psychological body it is a very long, drawn-out and painful process.

While cross-dressers are being accepted in a variety of ways including showing their talents off in variety shows, an actual transsexual must hide their sexual orientation. This is why transsexuals are fighting for equality rights, discrimination happens to them every day.

Transsexuals have lost their jobs, lost their homes, been kicked out of their apartment, and in some cases lost complete investment savings through legal matters. It's vital that everybody have a right to live their life with equality rights no matter their sexual orientation, how they look, or what type of physical change they may go through.

In Massachusetts they are starting to enact a bill, this is about equality of expression. The bill states that everyone has a right to their own expression no matter their sexual orientation. This bill is going through Massachusetts and hopefully will be signed into law.

Opponents to this transsexual equality rights bill say that it is opening the door for abuse. It is actually turned into who gets to use which bathroom and forgets all about equality rights. Those who do oppose this bill are saying that sexual predators are then going to be able to go into the opposite bathroom and try to prey on the innocent.

This transsexual equality rights bill should not be about which bathroom they get to use but should be more about their equality in the job, in the marketplace, in their home, and in their legal rights.

Many groups are standing up for the equality rights bill for transsexuals in Massachusetts, and of course, there are many also who oppose it. Equality rights should be for everyone, and it really shouldn't matter what sexual orientation or what sexual procedure you have gone through.
